One of the busiest days of the year for scams...

The first day back of the working year for a lot of us, and for service desks its a sea of tickets and calls with locked accounts and forgotten passwords. 

Because of that, its also one of the easiest days for a scammer to get through...

There is a spike of businesses receiving calls, some from actual people, some from convincing AI voices, asking for password resets and account access. 

Be vigilant out there, if you are Entra ID based, enable Self Service Password Reset (SSPR) and integrate with your onboarding process. Enable Multi Factor Authentication at every point possible, and use Conditional Access where available for more granular controls.
